Strengths and limits
Hostinger AI Builder
Strengths
- Everything in one plan: The FAQ says every plan includes hosting, a domain and business email, plus a built-in back end and Stripe payments, so a first site needs no separate accounts.
- Free to try without a card: Hostinger states both modes can be tested free with no card, and Agentic mode starts with 250 free AI credits.
- Manual mode does not use credits: Drag-and-drop edits and direct text and image edits do not draw down the AI credit balance, per the FAQ.
Limits to plan around
- Credits are metered in Agentic mode: Each chat action spends credits and a complex app can take 750 or more, which is more than the 250 shown for Premium; a top-up price was not found.
- Promo price is not the renewal price: The $1.99, $2.79 and $7.99 monthly figures come with a Black Friday 48-month prepay and renew at $10.99, $16.99 and $25.99 a month for the same term.
- No native mobile apps: The FAQ says it builds responsive web apps only, with no App Store or Google Play publishing.
Magic Patterns
Strengths
- Visible spend: Each reply reports its credit cost and model, and the docs publish typical credits for one generation up to a 50-version project.
- Free actions: Manual and visual edits, "Fix with AI", retries, exports and sharing use no credits.
- You own the output: The Terms assign designs, code and interfaces you generate to you; Magic Patterns claims no ownership.
Limits to plan around
- Free credits unquantified: The pricing page and docs say "free monthly credits" without a number, so the free allowance cannot be planned.
- Free work trains the service: The Terms let Magic Patterns train on Free plan inputs and output and show Free designs in public galleries.
- Key hand-off is paid: GitHub sync, MCP and design systems are marked as paid-plan features in the docs.

Comparing tools from different categories is fine, and often useful — a writing assistant and a research tool solve different halves of the same job. The table will show you exactly where they diverge.
Questions about comparing tools
How does the comparison work?
Add two tools to the comparison tray from any tool card, then open this page. The table pulls each tool's verified plan details, platforms, strengths and limits from its profile, so both columns carry the same kind of evidence, with a separate source-check date for each tool.
Do you declare a winner?
No. The table sets two tools against each other on documented facts, not on a score. Which one wins depends on your task, your budget and your usage volume — three things we cannot see from here.
Why are some cells empty or marked unverified?
Because we could not confirm that detail on the vendor's own pages. Rather than filling the gap with a figure from elsewhere, we mark it and say why on the tool's profile.
Can I compare more than two tools?
Not at once. Two columns keep the differences readable and force a real decision. Remove either selected tool to replace it, or clear both to start a new pair.
Every figure in the table above comes from the linked profile, where the source and the verification date are listed. Browse all tools or read the editorial policy.
