Strengths, limits and who it suits, in full
Strengths
- Price shown before spending Each generator, and the MCP connection, quotes the token cost before anything is made.
- Refund while unused A monthly plan can be refunded for the current month, and a yearly plan within 30 days, if the full monthly allowance is unused.
- Free scheduling Posting and scheduling to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram cost nothing on any plan, including videos not made with Aicut.
- Named operator Aicut GmbH gives its Bonn address, register number HRB 30024 and managing director in the imprint and terms.
Limits
- No free allowance stated The free plan charges $0.60 per token; free tokens are only described as something new accounts, referrals or rewards may get.
- Tokens reset monthly Unused subscription tokens do not roll over; only one-time packs keep their tokens, and pack prices are not on the pricing page.
- Small allowance for daily posting Creator covers about 4 full story videos a month by Aicut's own equivalence.
- Provenance marks stay Even without the visible watermark, Aicut and its model providers may embed invisible watermarks or metadata that users may not remove.
- Deletion is delayed Self-service account deletion is blocked while a subscription runs and for 30 days after a purchase.
Who it suits
- Creators running faceless story channels Series formats, a saved cast and scheduled posting are built for repeated short episodes.
- Teams already working in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor The MCP server exposes 59 tools, including pricing, generation and posting, on the same token balance.
- Not for testing without paying unless an account is granted free tokens, every generation on the free plan is paid at $0.60 per token.
- Not for long-form editing Videos run up to 5 minutes in vertical short formats; the homepage presents the timeline editor as a finishing tool for the last ten percent.
- Daily posters on a fixed budget a story a day needs several times the monthly tokens of either plan, so the extra pack cost decides the price.
How much does Aicut cost?
Prices confirmed · checked
Regional prices: The pricing table, pricing FAQ, terms and the page's structured data state prices in US dollars, with VAT added at checkout where applicable and payment through Stripe.
Read from a Germany-based server, the plan cards showed the same figures with a euro sign; the checkout currency was not checked. Yearly billing is charged up front ($149.99 or $299.99) and gives the same monthly token allowance; the page shows it as $12.50 or $25.00 a month and labels it a 37% saving. Subscription tokens are granted at the start of each billing month and reset with the next grant. Extra tokens come as one-time packs that do not expire while the account exists, but pack sizes and prices are not listed on the pricing page. Plans renew automatically, and the terms promise 30 days email notice before a price change.

| Automate | $39.99 per monthor $299.99 billed yearly sourceFrom aicut.pro/pricing, checked Oct 21, 2026 (opens in a new tab) | 100 tokens a month; everything in Creator plus automation campaigns that generate and post videos on a schedule, and priority support. |
How far does it go?
- Budgeting a daily story channelAicut equates 50 tokens to 4 full AI video stories, about 12.5 tokens each, and its MCP page quotes 10 tokens for a 30-second episode. One story a day for 30 days therefore needs roughly 300 to 375 tokens: Creator covers 4 stories (50 tokens), Automate 8 (100 tokens). At the free plan's $0.60 per token, one 12.5-token story is about $7.50. Per token, monthly billing works out to $0.40 on both plans and yearly billing to $0.25 ($149.99 / 600). Key features
| Feature | What it does | Watch out |
|---|---|---|
| AI Video Story: a multi-scene vertical episode with a written cast, dialogue and voices; 5 scenes of 5 seconds by default, 1 to 30 scenes (story creator FAQ) | — | |
| Recreate: paste a TikTok link or upload a video and the AI rebuilds its style, cast, beats and lines as an editable episode (story creator FAQ) | — | |
| Story series and templates such as Cheating Fruits, Prison Fruits or Talking Objects, plus fake text and Reddit story formats (homepage, terms) | — | |
| Browser timeline editor, subtitles, image generation, voiceover, music and sound effects in the same token balance (homepage, about page) | Every generation shows its token price before you start; a failed generation is credited back automatically. | Per-model prices sit on each tool in the create hub, not on the pricing page, so a monthly budget has to be worked out per format. |
| Posting and scheduling to TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels, 10 minutes to 30 days ahead, free on every plan (scheduler page) | — | |
| Hosted MCP server and API keys so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Grok can generate and post on your account, priced in tokens (MCP page, terms) | — | |
| Recreate and Reshot | Recreate remakes a source video scene for scene with freshly generated footage; Reshot puts your own character into a clip that already went viral. | The terms make you responsible for being allowed to use the reference video in that way. |
| Automation campaigns | On Automate, a campaign generates and publishes videos on a schedule you set once, without opening the app. | The terms say Aicut is not responsible for a platform rejecting posts, limiting reach or suspending the account; review campaigns regularly. |
How far do the monthly tokens go?
Everything in Aicut draws on one token balance. The pricing page says each generation spends what its model and settings cost, the exact price appears before you start, and browsing spends nothing. Per-model token prices are listed on each tool in the create hub rather than on the pricing page. If a generation fails on Aicut’s side, the tokens come back automatically.
Subscription tokens are use-it-or-lose-it: the monthly allowance is granted at the start of each billing month and replaced by the next grant. Only one-time token packs carry over, and the terms say they do not expire while the account exists; their sizes and prices are not published on the pricing page. The free plan has no stated allowance at all, only $0.60 per token and a watermark. If a free allowance to try before paying matters, the Cliptalk profile lists 500 free credits and ShortMake starts free without a card.
What does Recreate take from a viral video?
Recreate is the feature the homepage leads with. According to the AI Video Story FAQ, you paste a TikTok link or upload a file, and the AI reads the art style, each recurring character’s look and voice, the scene-by-scene beats and the spoken lines. It then loads these into the editor as a cast and scene list, and generates the whole episode fresh; nothing from the original file is reused. Repurpose keeps the look and cast but writes a new story, and Reshot puts your own character into a clip that already went viral.
Rebuilding someone else’s beats and dialogue is still a rights question. The terms make you responsible for being allowed to use a reference video that way, and they warn that Output may resemble what other users generate from similar inputs and may not be protected by copyright. Aicut grants you ownership of Output for personal and commercial use as far as the law allows.
What happens when Aicut posts for you?
Connecting TikTok, YouTube or Instagram lets Aicut publish, schedule and read channel statistics on your behalf. The scheduler page says posting and scheduling are free on every plan, posts can be set from 10 minutes to 30 days ahead, and videos made elsewhere can be uploaded as MP4 or MOV. AI-written captions belong to the paid plans. Automation campaigns, which generate and publish new videos on a fixed schedule, are listed only on Automate.
The homepage FAQ answers that channels do not get shadowbanned or demonetised for using an AI voice. The terms are more careful: you must follow each platform’s rules on AI-generated content, label synthetic content where required, and Aicut is not responsible if a platform rejects a post, limits reach or suspends the account. For a channel that depends on monetisation, the platform’s own policy is the one to read.
Which formats need extra care?
Several built-in formats imitate real life: fake text-message videos, a free fake text screenshot maker styled like iMessage, WhatsApp or Instagram DMs, and series built on cheating or loyalty-test storylines. These are fiction, and the acceptable use rules forbid content that impersonates a person or organisation, deceives viewers into thinking a real person said or did something, or presents synthetic content as real in a misleading way. Uploading a photo, video or voice of a real person requires that person’s consent, and the service is for users aged 18 or over.
Who sees your prompts and videos?
The Privacy Policy, updated September 12, 2026, says Aicut does not train its own generalised models on your content or Output. Text features are answered by models from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and xAI, with zero data retention requested on production traffic; video, image and voice generation runs at OpenAI, Google, ElevenLabs, AWS and the hosting platforms fal.ai, Replicate and Kie.ai. Media is stored partly in the AWS us-east-2 region in Ohio.
Two clauses affect what you publish. Selected Output may appear in Aicut’s public galleries and marketing unless you email to have an item removed. And beyond the visible watermark that paid plans remove, Aicut and its providers may embed invisible watermarks or metadata marking a video as AI-generated, which you may not strip. After account deletion, content leaves storage within 30 days and backups within a further 30.
How do cancellation and refunds work?
Cancel in Account settings or on the Billing page; the plan runs to the end of the paid period and is not charged again. Refunds depend on unused tokens: a monthly plan can be refunded for the current month while the full monthly allowance is untouched, a yearly plan within 30 days of its start under the same condition, and a token pack while none of its tokens has been used. EU and EEA consumers also have a 14-day right of withdrawal, though they owe the value of tokens already used.
Account deletion is permanent and removes remaining tokens, but self-service deletion is unavailable while a subscription is active or within 30 days of a purchase; the terms ask you to cancel first or contact info@aicut.pro.
How could you check Aicut before paying?
Proposed evaluation · not performed yet
Check what a default story episode costs and delivers, using an invented cast and no real person.
- Create a free account and note whether any free tokens appear in the balance.
- Open AI Video Story, choose Own idea with the 3D Fruits world, and type one line about two fruit neighbours swapping a lost umbrella.
- Keep the default 5 scenes of 5 seconds and record the token price shown on the generate button before clicking.
- If free tokens cover it, generate the episode, download it, and check the watermark, the 9:16 format and whether both characters keep the same look.
- Open the scheduler without connecting a real channel and note which caption options are locked on the free plan.
Accept if the quoted price matches the tokens deducted and the characters stay consistent across scenes. Reject if tokens are charged without a finished video or the price is only shown after generation. No result is recorded here.

Frequently asked questions
Is Aicut free?
There is a $0 plan, but it is pay as you go: tokens cost $0.60 each and videos carry an Aicut watermark. New accounts, referrals and reward programs may grant free tokens, though no amount is published. Posting and scheduling stay free on every plan, and a fake text screenshot maker needs no sign-up.
Can I remove the Aicut watermark?
The visible watermark disappears on the paid Creator and Automate plans. The terms add that Aicut and its AI providers may also embed invisible watermarks, metadata or other provenance signals that mark a video as AI-generated, and users may not remove, alter or obscure them, so a paid video can still be identified as made with Aicut.
Which languages does Aicut support?
The homepage FAQ lists 27 languages, among them English, Spanish, German, Hindi, Japanese, Arabic and Turkish, while the AI Video Story FAQ says episodes can be written and voiced in 29. The language is picked before the story is written, and a recreated video defaults to the language spoken in the source clip.
Does Aicut have an API or work with ChatGPT and Claude?
Yes. Aicut runs a hosted MCP server at mcp.aicut.pro that Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor and Grok can connect to, with 59 tools for pricing, generating and posting. The terms also allow API keys. Anything done through a key or connected app is charged in tokens exactly as in the app.
How long can an Aicut video be?
The homepage FAQ says videos can run up to 5 minutes, depending on script length, and take about 1 to 3 minutes to render, or around 10 minutes in AI Video mode, with an email when ready. Story episodes default to about 25 seconds and can be split into several parts.
