Strengths, limits and who it suits, in full

Strengths

  • Free plan with no card The pricing page says every account gets 8 credits a day and 24 a month with no card required, and that you keep what you build.
  • Infrastructure does not use credits The pricing page says database, storage, push, social login and real-time messaging never consume credits on any plan.
  • Native store publishing on Pro The App stores page and pricing page list Google Play and App Store publishing from Pro, at 50 credits a build with failed builds refunded.
  • Stated no-training policy The Security page says Whacka does not train AI models on your prompts or generated code, which are sent to AI providers under no-training agreements.

Limits

  • Free apps go offline after 14 days What's New and the pricing page say Free apps are online for 14 days after publishing, so Free cannot host a lasting tool.
  • Credits per app are not published The pricing page says build cost scales with the size of the change and gives no per-app credit figure, so a monthly allowance cannot be turned into a number of apps.
  • Weekly credits do not roll over The pricing FAQ says unused weekly credits are cleared each week; only earned and top-up credits last 365 days.
  • Store publishing needs developer accounts The App stores page says Google charges $25 once and Apple $99 a year, paid to them, on top of the Whacka plan.
  • Reach of the apps is arcade and business scale The Games page describes arcade-scale games and the use-case pages cover forms, bookings and internal tools; the site does not claim large-scale or regulated systems.

Who it suits

  • Small businesses that need booking pages, storefronts or customer portals The homepage lists booking pages, storefronts, internal tools and customer portals as business uses.
  • Teams replacing a shared spreadsheet The internal-tools page lists inventory trackers, inspection checklists and shift schedules with team logins and roles.
  • Teachers and group organisers The Telegram assistant page describes class tests, sign-ups and attendance made inside a chat group.
  • Not for teams that need a signed DPA on a small plan The pricing page lists a signed DPA from Ultra only.

Regional prices: Prices are USD as listed on the Whacka pricing page on 2026-10-17.

The page opens on annual billing and prints $8, $32 and $96 a month for Starter, Pro and Ultra with a Save 20% label; the monthly-billing figures of $10, $40 and $120 are taken from the figures in the page's own script, which match that 20% saving, and were not shown in text. Annual totals are not printed, so we do not state them. Top-up packs are $12 for 100 credits and $55 for 500 credits and last 12 months. Larger needs are quoted by email. Which plan fits?

Smallest plan whose monthly credits cover your number with 15% spare for regenerations. Arithmetic from the plan table above, not a usage test.

How far does it go?

  • What a credit costsDividing the fee by the monthly allowance gives about $0.050 a credit on Starter ($10 / 200), $0.050 on Pro ($40 / 800) and $0.048 on Ultra ($120 / 2,500) on monthly billing, and about $0.060 on Weekly ($3 / 50), only if every credit is used. Top-up packs cost $0.12 and $0.11 a credit. Whacka does not publish how many credits an app takes, because the cost scales with the size of each change, so this is the price of credits, not of a finished app. Build one small app on Free before choosing a plan.

Key features

FeatureWhat it doesWatch out
Chat-based builder: describe the app, then change it by talking; the preview updates live (Help Center)—
Hosting, database, file storage, push notifications and sign-in are included and do not use credits (pricing page)The pricing page says each round of code generation uses your monthly credits and the cost scales with the size of the change. Database, storage, push, social login and real-time messaging never consume credits, and AI calls inside a published app are charged to the end user, not the builder.Estimate your cost from how many build rounds you expect, not from how many users the app will have; the pricing page does not say how many credits a typical app takes.
Publishes to Google Play and the App Store as native apps from Pro, with over-the-air updates after review (App stores page)—
Private invite-only apps and your own domain on Pro and Ultra; data export from Starter, code export from Pro (pricing page, What's New)—
Apps can take payments through your own PayPal, send WhatsApp messages and receive webhooks (What's New)—
Free apps expire; paid apps stay liveWhat's New says that on Free each app is live for 14 days from its first publish, while on any paid plan apps stay live as long as you subscribe. The pricing page adds that Weekly also keeps apps online for 14 days.Treat Free as a trial for testing an idea, not as hosting for a tool your team depends on.

Which plan fits an app you plan to keep?

The pricing page and What’s New say Free and Weekly apps are online for 14 days after publishing, while apps on Starter, Pro and Ultra stay live as long as you subscribe. A tool your team relies on therefore needs a paid plan; Free is for testing the idea.

What do you pay for, and what is free?

Credits cover each round of code generation, and the cost scales with the size of the change. Database, storage, push and sign-in do not use credits, and AI calls inside a published app are billed to its users. The pricing page gives no credit figure for a typical app, so build one small app on Free first.

How could you check Whacka before paying?

Proposed evaluation · not performed yet

Use the Free plan on an app you would really keep.

  1. Describe one small app in a sentence, such as a booking page for one service, and publish it.
  2. Note how many of the 24 monthly credits that first build and one edit used.
  3. Check what you would need next, such as a subdomain, data export or a longer live period, and compare it with the plan that includes it.
