Strengths, limits and who it suits, in full
Strengths
- WordPress underneath Sites run on a full WordPress install with SSH, SFTP and database access, not a closed page format.
- Hosting extras included Daily backups, staging, SSL and a first-year domain up to $30 are part of every AI plan.
- Plain credit unit The AI editor guide says each AI request costs 1 credit, so a monthly allowance is easy to count.
- Yearly billing halves the price The yearly price shown is half the monthly one on every AI plan.
Limits
- No free plan A free draft can be generated, but editing and publishing need a trial that asks for a card.
- Refund promise conflicts The pricing page advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee while the Terms and refund policy say all payments are final.
- Trial sites are deleted If you do not upgrade before the trial ends, the site is deleted, though it can be recovered after upgrading.
- Hard to move The help center says AI-generated sites are supported only on 10Web hosting and will not work correctly elsewhere.
- Usage fees on top On AI Starter, each 10,000 visitors over the limit costs $2 and each extra 5 GB of storage $2.
Who it suits
- Small businesses wanting WordPress without setup Hosting, SSL, backups, updates and a domain come with the AI plan.
- Owners with an outdated site The redesign and cloning agents start from an existing page instead of a blank prompt.
- Agencies managing many sites Agency plans cover 10 to 50+ sites with white-label dashboards and client billing.
- Shops and booking businesses Stores, bookings, memberships and online ordering are generated with the site.
- Not for trying before paying anything beyond a free draft needs a card-backed trial, and refunds are unclear.
How much does 10Web cost?
Prices confirmed · checked
- $20AI Starter
- $30AI Premium
- $45AI Ultimate
- $85Agency Starter and Agency Core
Regional prices: The yearly view is the page default and shows each 12-month price against a regular price twice as high, for example $120 against $240 on AI Starter; the page does not say what the second year costs.
Extra websites can be added to a plan at $20, $15 or $11.2 a site a month on monthly billing ($10, $7.5 or $5.6 billed yearly), each with 10K visits and 5 GB. Upgrading mid-term credits the unused balance toward the new plan; downgrading or switching from yearly to monthly is done by Customer Care, not in the dashboard. An email goes out 24 hours before the first charge after a trial.

How far does it go?
- One three-page site on AI StarterAssume a three-page small-business site (home, services, contact), about 30 AI revisions in the first month, then 3,000 page views a month. At 1 credit per AI request, 30 revisions use 30 of the 100 monthly credits, leaving 70; whether the first generation also uses credits is not stated. 10Web counts unique-IP visitors, not page views, so the 10K limit is not directly comparable, but 3,000 views cannot exceed 3,000 visitors. The year costs $20 x 12 = $240 on monthly billing or $120 billed yearly, with the domain covered up to $30 in year one. Editorial arithmetic on published figures and an assumed workload, not a 10Web estimate.
Arithmetic from the published allowances above, not a usage test.
Taxes, currency and promotions can change the price you see at checkout.

Key features
| Feature | What it does | Watch out |
|---|---|---|
| Prompt, link, file or Figma to site: 10Web plans the pages, asks a few questions, then builds a website, store or web app (What is 10Web?) | A generation prompt must be 20 to 2,000 characters of plain text; line breaks count as characters. | Shorter or longer input triggers an error rather than a truncated site. |
| Agents for existing work: a redesign agent updates an outdated page, a cloning agent recreates a page from a URL and a Figma agent converts designs | — | |
| AI editor with chat, visual editing, code access, version history and restore, plus a regenerate option that rebuilds the whole site | Rebuilds the entire website with AI from the editor menu after a typed confirmation. | It replaces the current version, so it is a fresh start rather than an edit. |
| WordPress backend: full WordPress CMS with SSH, SFTP and MySQL access, staging, automated daily backups and WordPress and plugin updates | — | |
| Business features generated with the site: bookings, forms, memberships, online ordering and an online store with checkout, shipping and tax | — | |
| Hosting and speed: managed hosting with 99.99% uptime, bot and DDoS protection, page caching and Cloudflare CDN for one site on AI Ultimate | — | |
| Site Lock on trial sites | During a trial the site sits behind a username and password shown in the dashboard, so only you can view it. | Disabling Site Lock, buying a domain or adding a website ends the trial at once and starts the paid plan. |
What is free on 10Web, and when does the card come in?
Generating a draft is free; almost everything after that runs on a trial. The getting started guide walks through it: you describe the business, pick a structure and style, sign up, and 10Web builds a site you can preview on desktop and mobile and regenerate. To unlock full editing you start a 7-day trial of a paid plan by adding a card. The coupons page puts it the same way: you can generate a website before paying.
During the trial the site sits behind Site Lock, a login prompt that keeps the public out. Turning Site Lock off, buying a domain or adding a website ends the trial immediately and starts billing. 10Web emails you 24 hours before the first charge, and if you do not upgrade the trial site is deleted, with recovery possible once you pay. The AI Website Builder page says “Publish for free”; the help center describes the trial flow above, so plan on a paid plan before the site is public.
What does an AI credit buy?
One AI request. The AI editor guide says editing requests sent through the AI chat use credits from your plan and each request costs 1 credit, with a usage counter in the editor menu. The plan pages describe credits as covering AI website generation and editing, so a monthly allowance of 100, 200 or 300 credits is a count of chat requests rather than a token budget. Visual edits, theme changes and code edits are separate tools in the same editor, and the guide ties credits to the AI chat.
A few rules shape how far that goes. Generation prompts must be 20 to 2,000 characters of plain text. The regenerate option rebuilds the whole site rather than editing it. For existing material there are three agents: redesign for an outdated page, cloning to recreate a page from a URL, and Figma to convert a design into a WordPress page.
Which refund rule applies?
The pages disagree, and the stricter text is the contract. The pricing page and coupons page advertise a 30-day money-back guarantee on every plan. The Terms of Service and the refund policy in the help center, updated on 22 October 2026, say 10Web does not offer refunds for platform subscriptions and that all payments are final, pointing to the free trial and the pre-charge email instead. The Terms refund plugin subscriptions only for billing errors on 10Web’s side and Booster subscriptions not at all.
In practice, treat the 7-day trial as the evaluation window, cancel inside it from the subscription page if the site is not right, and keep a copy of whatever refund promise you rely on if you buy yearly. Yearly billing is half the monthly price on every AI plan, which makes that decision the expensive one.
Can you move a 10Web site somewhere else?
Technically you get WordPress: the AI Starter plan page lists a full WordPress CMS, SSH, SFTP and MySQL access, staging, multisite and automated daily backups. But the help article on other hostings says the AI generation tool is supported only on 10Web hosting and that recreated websites will not function correctly outside it, so 10Web strongly discourages migrating them. Budget for the site staying on 10Web hosting for as long as you use the AI features.
That is the main difference from builders that hand you a code repository. If keeping the code in your own Git repository matters more than WordPress, the Lovable profile covers that model.
How does the bill grow with traffic and sites?
Each AI plan includes a visitor allowance counted by unique IP addresses each month. On AI Starter, every 10,000 visitors over the limit adds $2 at the end of the billing month and every extra 5 GB of storage another $2. More sites come either as add-ons to your current plan, each with 10K visits and 5 GB, or from a higher tier: AI Premium covers two sites and AI Ultimate four.
Agency plans change the model. Agency Core adds a branded dashboard and builder so you can bill clients through Stripe or PayPal, with a 7% 10Web transaction fee on that billing; Agency Pro lists that fee as low as 0%. Upgrading mid-term credits the unused part of your current plan, while downgrades go through Customer Care.
How could you check 10Web before paying?
Proposed evaluation · not performed yet
Generate one three-page site for free, then use the trial only for what the decision needs.
- Generate an informational site with home, services and contact pages from a 300-character prompt, and preview it on mobile.
- Start the 7-day trial with a card and note the date by which you must cancel.
- Leave Site Lock on, make ten AI chat edits and check that the credit counter drops by ten.
- Open WP Admin and SFTP, and confirm you can download the files and a database backup.
- Decide before day seven and cancel from the subscription page if you will not keep it.
Accept if the edits land as described, the credit count matches one per request, and you can reach the WordPress files. Reject if the draft needs a full regenerate to fix, or if you need to publish publicly before choosing a plan. No result is recorded here.

Frequently asked questions
Is a 10Web site a real WordPress site?
Yes. Sites are generated on a WordPress backend that stays connected to the full WordPress CMS, with automated WordPress and plugin updates, current PHP and MySQL versions and multisite support. The pricing FAQ describes the editor as based on Elementor, and the Terms say 10Web plugins and themes are licensed under the GPL.
Does 10Web have coupon or promo codes?
No. 10Web says it issues no coupon or promo codes and there is no code field at checkout, so codes listed on coupon sites cannot be applied. Its stated savings come from yearly, two-year and three-year billing, which it says cost 50 to 65% less than paying month to month.
How does the free domain work?
Each AI plan includes your first custom domain free for one year, with up to $30 covered; a more expensive domain gets $30 off instead. The pricing page adds that its 30-day money-back guarantee applies only until you claim the free domain, so claiming it early gives up that window.
Can 10Web build an online store or a web app?
Yes. 10Web lists three project types. Stores get a product catalog, checkout, inventory, shipping, tax, subscriptions and pre-orders, with 10Web Payments, Stripe and PayPal. Web apps cover client portals, dashboards, CRM, booking and membership tools with user logins and databases. All of them use the same AI credits and hosting plans.
Who runs 10Web and how do charges appear?
TenWeb, Inc. operates the platform under Delaware law, with an address in Newark, Delaware. Card payments go through Stripe and appear as 10WEB.IO, US; PayPal payments show as PAYPAL*TENWEB INC, US. The Terms require any claim against the company to be brought within one year.
