What can you do before paying?
The AI page says a site can be generated without an account, and the help center describes a 14-day trial in which any plan can be tried. The trial can be extended repeatedly, but publishing requires a paid subscription. A domain can be added during the trial, yet the site then opens only with an access code.
If you never subscribe, the site is deleted 14 days after the trial ends. If you have paid for a plan at least once, it is kept for 12 months. Treat the trial as a place to build and review the draft, not as free hosting for a live site.
What does the AI generator produce, and what is left to you?
According to the AI page, the generator analyses the business description for tone of voice, site structure, audience and goals, creates a design system and writes text with matching images. The result opens in the regular Flexbe editor, where sections, layout and animations can be changed by hand.
The page presents a site in under 60 seconds; that is the provider’s claim, not a measured result. Check every generated fact about your business, such as prices, opening hours and service areas, and replace placeholder images you do not have rights to. Accessible basic SEO settings, canonical URLs and robots.txt editing are available in the editor.
Which plan includes the AI copywriter?
The pricing table marks the AI copywriter, labelled beta, as unavailable on Starter and included on Small Business and Business. It works inside any text element: it can suggest variants, shorten or lengthen copy, change tone, fix grammar and translate, and it keeps every result in a Generations list.
The help center sets a limit of 100 AI requests a day per account and says the limit and plan terms may change. Filling in company details under Settings, then AI Settings, gives the copywriter context. Editorial assessment: Starter fits a generated site you will polish by hand, while ongoing AI copy work points to Small Business.
When do you need the Business plan?
Business is the only tier with the online store: product catalogue, product variants, promo codes, PayPal and Stripe payments and automatic order emails. It is also the only plan that adds collaborators, with five additional users. White label, which removes the Made on Flexbe label, starts on Small Business.
Business is also the only plan with a website-count selector. On monthly billing the price per site falls from $30 for one site to $25 for two or three, $20 for five to 15, $17 for 20 to 40 and $15 for 50. The help center mentions up to 300 websites, so larger portfolios need a quote from support.
How are billing, renewals and refunds handled?
Plans are billed monthly or yearly, with yearly 20% cheaper. The account currency, US dollars or euros, is fixed at the first payment and can be changed only by support. Automatic renewal with a saved card is optional, and reminders go out 5 days before the period ends and 14 days after.
Changing plan converts the remaining paid days to the new price, so an upgrade to a plan twice as expensive halves them. Refund requests are handled by email to info@flexbe.com with card digits and a receipt, and the help center says no refund is given after the paid period has expired.
What should you check in the legal pages?
The contacts page names Flexbe Inc. in Playa Vista, California. The terms of service, however, cover only viewing materials on the website under California law and say nothing about subscriptions, generated content or refunds, so billing rules come from the help center instead.
The privacy policy is dated March 1, 2020 and predates the AI generator. It does not describe which AI providers receive your business description or prompts. Keep confidential plans, client data and unreleased prices out of the generator brief until the provider documents that data flow.
Can the trial produce a publish-ready one-page site?

During the 14-day trial, generate a site for a fictional neighbourhood bakery from a four-sentence brief that lists opening hours, three products and a delivery area. Do not connect a real domain or publish.
- Record the brief, the time the generator takes and the plan selected in the trial.
- Compare every stated fact on the draft with the brief.
- Edit one section in the free-section editor and check the mobile preview.
- Switch the trial to Small Business and rewrite one headline with the AI copywriter.
- List what would still be needed before publishing: domain, paid plan, images you own.
Accept a draft with no invented facts, a usable mobile layout and a copywriter rewrite that keeps the original meaning. Reject invented prices or services, broken mobile sections or a copywriter that is unavailable on the selected plan. Leave the observed result blank until the exercise is run.

Can I connect my own domain during the trial?
Yes, but visitors will not see the site freely. The help center says a domain added during the trial is available only with an access code, found under Settings, General, Site Access, until a paid plan starts. After payment, the TLS certificate is switched on automatically within one day of adding the domain.
Can I register a new domain through Flexbe?
Yes. The site settings let you connect an existing domain or register a new one on the platform, and the help center says registration can take from one hour to two days. A subdomain requires a domain of your own first, because it is created as part of that higher-level address.
Can I move a trial site to another Flexbe account?
The help center says a site can be transferred as a draft to another Flexbe account during the trial. This suits a freelancer who builds a site and hands it to a client, who then pays for the plan. Only the website owner can pay for the subscription; site members cannot.
Which payment methods and payer types does Flexbe accept?
The help center describes bank card payments that clear within minutes and bank transfers from a company account that take up to 3 working days. On the first payment you choose between a natural person and a legal entity as payer; changing that type later requires contacting support.
Where are Flexbe sites hosted?
The AI page says the infrastructure is positioned in the United States and Germany, and the homepage describes seven data center locations with failover. All sites run on HTTPS with Let’s Encrypt certificates, and uploaded images are converted to AVIF and WebP. The pages do not let you choose a hosting region for your site.
