Tangia

A custom voice is the feature that needs the closest read. Tangia’s help page says a model can be live within about 30 seconds of uploading a 4–5 minute recording, under 10 MB. The Terms then say you confirm you own the recording, that Tangia owns the resulting AI model and may use the data for future model training, and that you may share the model with other creators. You can ask for the model and original recording to be purged, which Tangia says it will do within 30 business days. If your voice is a paid part of your channel, decide whether those terms fit before you record.

Viewers pay per interaction, not per feature. Credits are worth 1 cent each and, per the Tangia Credit page, $100 buys 10,400 credits. The Terms give streamers 80% of the gross value of interactions, with an extra 2% transfer fee for accounts outside the US, and Bits sent through the extension are processed by Twitch, where Tangia takes a 20% share. Interactions that fail for a technical reason are refunded or turned into vouchers; ones a streamer or moderator rejects are not.

The image help page says the current model is made by OpenAI and plays a replacement interaction if the prompt breaks its content policy, and that it declines known characters. The Content Policy calls the celebrity-style voice recreations fictitious parody and bars their use outside the Tangia extension and audience page, so plan around that before reusing a clip elsewhere.

The Tangia+ help page lists what the monthly plan unlocks; its price was not shown on any page we could open, so read it from the dashboard during the trial.

• Channel-point text-to-speech rises to 60,000 characters a month, from 20,000.
• Three more TTS slots for voices chat can pick.
• Twitch follows, subs, gift subs and raids can trigger TTS alerts.
• Viewers get perks such as priority in the interaction queue.

Proposed evaluation, not performed: before paying for anything, start the 7-day Tangia+ trial and set up the overlay on a private test stream. Record the 4–5 minute sample, send three chat messages through your own model and one image prompt from a second account, then check the dashboard for what each interaction cost in credits and what Tangia+ shows as its price at the end of the trial. The result would tell you the real monthly amount and whether the overlay works with your streaming software; it would not show how a live audience reacts.
