ELECTE: forecasts from accounting data, but only a 7-day trial, and the AI Agent starts on Business at €49 per user
Updated September 29, 2026 · By Elias Brandt · Documentation review, not tested hands-on
Pros
- Read-only data connections
- Published per-user prices
- EU hosting
Cons
- Trial only, no free plan
- AI Agent is a Business feature
- No refund for the current period
Bottom line
Trial offered at checkout; nothing is charged until the trial ends and a paid plan is chosen.
You keep books in Xero, QuickBooks or Sage and want a first cash-flow forecast without changing records: connections are read-only, and a CSV or Excel upload is the fallback.
You are an individual after personal budgeting: the refund policy says ELECTE is sold only to businesses, sole traders and professionals.

Strengths, limits and who it suits, in full
Strengths
- Read-only data connections Sources are authorized read-only, so connecting ELECTE does not change records in the accounting tool.
- Published per-user prices Plan cards show EUR prices per user for monthly and annual billing, with VAT stated as excluded.
- EU hosting The privacy policy places application hosting in Nuremberg, Germany, with backups in Milan.
Limits
- Trial only, no free plan After the 7-day trial, continued access needs a paid seat.
- AI Agent is a Business feature Starter covers analytics and monthly forecasts but not the AI Agent or cash-flow predictions.
- No refund for the current period Cancelling stops renewal, but the paid month or the rest of a paid year is not refunded.
Who it suits
- Small companies on Xero or QuickBooks the read-only accounting connection is the shortest route to a first cash-flow forecast.
- Finance leads preparing board packs Business adds the AI Agent and presentation reports exported to PowerPoint or PDF.
- Freelancers tracking revenue trends Starter fits simple trend tracking, but its 90-day history is short for seasonal patterns.
- Teams that want reports in their own tools the read-only API can pull generated reports into another system.
How much does ELECTE cost?
Prices confirmed · checked
Regional prices: Prices are in EUR per user and exclude VAT.
The pricing page opens on annual billing, labelled as saving about 18%, but does not print the annual invoice total. Checkout and billing happen inside the platform. The refund policy says ELECTE is sold only to businesses, that a cancelled plan keeps access to the end of the paid period without a refund, and that seat reductions apply from the next renewal.

What does a Starter seat cover, and what needs Business?
Starter is the analytics tier: basic financial analytics, revenue trend tracking, monthly forecasts, CSV export, email support and 90 days of data history. Business adds the parts most buyers come for, namely the AI Agent that writes reports and competitor analysis, AI-powered forecasting, cash-flow predictions, advanced integrations and unlimited data history.
The pricing page also describes an AI analyst on every seat, but the plan cards place the AI Agent only on Business and Enterprise. Treat the cards as the offer. If automatic board reports or cash-flow predictions are the reason you are looking, price Business from the start instead of planning to add them later.
Is there a free plan, and what does the trial commit you to?
The 4.5 changelog describes a seven-day trial at checkout, and the refund policy says nothing is charged until the trial ends and you choose a paid plan. After that, cancelling a monthly plan keeps access to the end of the paid month without a refund, and cancelling an annual plan stops the renewal but does not refund the rest of the year.
The refund policy also states that ELECTE is sold only to businesses, sole traders and professionals, and that consumer withdrawal rules do not apply to these purchases. Duplicate charges, charges after a confirmed cancellation and billing errors are refunded in full. Requests go to hello@electe.net from an address on the account.
How much history does a forecast need on Starter?
ELECTE runs six forecasting methods on your data, scores them against each other and shows the most accurate one. The version 4.5 changelog adds that an accuracy that could not be measured is not displayed, and that a rejected model is never presented as the projection. Scores depend on having enough past data to test against.
Starter lists a 90-day data history, while Business lists unlimited history. The plan card does not say whether the 90 days limits what the forecasting engine reads or only what you can browse. A business with seasonal sales should ask before relying on Starter, because three months cannot contain a full year of seasonal pattern.
How does the AI Agent use your company data?
The AI Agent answers plain-language questions with the figures it used shown underneath, and each answer names the source system and when it last synced. It can also run on a schedule and leave a written brief on what changed. Connections are read-only by default, so the agent does not write back to your accounting or CRM tools.
The privacy policy places application hosting in Nuremberg, Germany, with backups in Milan, and says transfers outside the EEA use standard contractual clauses. Its list of processor categories names AI processing only for ELECTE’s own published content and does not name the model provider behind the agent. Ask privacy@electe.net for the current provider list before connecting payroll or customer records.
How are seats counted and priced over time?
Prices are per user and exclude VAT. The page opens on annual billing, shown as about 18% below monthly, but no annual invoice total is printed. Version 4.5 introduced workspace roles for owner, admin, member and viewer, with seats and invitations; the public pages do not say whether a viewer occupies a paid seat.
The terms say subscriptions renew automatically on the same conditions and that a fee change takes effect at the end of the current period after reasonable notice. Reducing seats or downgrading applies from the next renewal. Before inviting colleagues, confirm with sales how read-only viewers are billed, since seat count drives the total cost.
What can you take out of ELECTE?
Reports are generated as presentations and export to PowerPoint or PDF, and Starter lists export to CSV. The public API is deliberately small: every route is a GET request authenticated with a platform key, covering workspaces, data sources, usage, webhooks and generated reports. The documentation lists 1,000 requests an hour for authenticated calls.
- Pull finished reports into another system through the /v1/reports routes.
- Watch for user and project changes through webhook events.
- Keep the source of truth in your accounting tool; the API does not load data into ELECTE.
Can the trial turn two years of sample figures into a usable cash-flow forecast?
Proposed evaluation · not performed yet
During the 7-day trial on the Business plan, upload a fictional CSV with 24 months of monthly revenue and expenses for a small shop. Build in a clear December peak and one unusual cost spike in month 15. Use no real customer or payroll data, and stop before the trial converts to a paid seat.
- Record the plan shown, the trial end date and the file used.
- Upload the CSV and note the time to the first forecast.
- Check which forecasting method is displayed and whether an accuracy score appears.
- Ask the AI Agent why the month-15 spike happened and which figures it used.
- Export the cash-flow report to PDF and reopen it outside the platform.
Accept a 12-month forecast that repeats the December peak, treats the spike as a one-off and names the figures behind the agent’s answer. Reject a forecast that projects the spike forward or an agent answer that cites figures not in the file. No forecast accuracy or output is reported until the trial is actually run.
To ask questions of a spreadsheet directly rather than connect accounting systems, compare Rowspeak. Other options sit in AI tools for data and spreadsheets.
Is ELECTE worth it?
Documentation review plus dated public user reports. Documentation review, not tested hands-on. Not scored.
Worth it if
- You keep books in Xero, QuickBooks or Sage and want a first cash-flow forecast without changing records: connections are read-only, and a CSV or Excel upload is the fallback.
- You are a business that wants reports as presentations: Business exports to PowerPoint or PDF and adds the AI Agent for scheduled briefs.
- You can test it in one week: the 7-day trial charges nothing until you pick a paid plan, so a short trial is enough to judge the forecasts.
Probably not if
- You are an individual after personal budgeting: the refund policy says ELECTE is sold only to businesses, sole traders and professionals.
- You have seasonal sales and plan to start on Starter: its 90-day history cannot hold a full year, and the page does not say what the limit does to the forecasts.
- You need to load data into ELECTE through the API: every route is read-only, so it pulls reports out but does not take data in.

Frequently asked questions
Is ELECTE the same company as other sites with a similar name?
The product discussed here is at electe.net and is operated by ELECTE S.R.L., Via Montenapoleone 8, Milan, VAT IT 12771670960, as shown in its legal footer and terms. Check that the checkout runs inside platform.electe.net, because the refund policy says the surrounding websites sell nothing and take no payments.
Which accounting tools can ELECTE read from?
The integrations page lists Xero, QuickBooks and Sage among business sources, together with Stripe, Shopify, HubSpot, Google Sheets and connectors such as Zapier, Make and n8n. Each source is authorized read-only. If your accounting package is not listed, the homepage says you can start by uploading an Excel or CSV export instead.
Does ELECTE sell or train on my financial data?
The homepage FAQ says ELECTE never sells customer data and that you can export or delete it at any time. For data inside the platform, the privacy policy describes ELECTE as a processor acting on the customer's instructions. It does not describe model training on customer data, so ask the privacy team if that point matters for your contracts.
Can I buy ELECTE as an individual for personal budgeting?
No. The refund policy says ELECTE is sold only to businesses, sole traders and professionals, and that by subscribing you confirm a business purchase. Consumer withdrawal rights under EU and Italian consumer law are therefore excluded, apart from rights mandatory law keeps. It is built for company accounts rather than household finances.
Is there an MCP server or automation route for the AI tools I already use?
The site footer links an MCP page alongside the API, and the API documentation lists Zapier, Make and n8n as ways to connect. The API is read-only, so automations can fetch reports and react to webhook events, but they cannot push new ledger data into ELECTE through the API.

The /pricing address returns a 404 page; plans are on /prezzi and in the homepage pricing block, both opening on annual billing. The pricing page also says every seat includes an AI analyst and that 24/7 support and SSO come with every plan, while the plan cards list the AI Agent only from Business and email support on Starter; the plan cards are used here. The refund policy says every plan starts with a free trial, the homepage FAQ names Starter and Business, and the 4.5 changelog gives a seven-day trial at checkout. Accuracy scores and customer counts on the homepage are provider illustrations and are not repeated.
