How far does it go?
- Welcome credits against media ratesThe 60 sign-up credits cover 60 ÷ 10 = 6 images at the listed 10-credit image rate, or 60 ÷ 30 = 2 clips at the lowest listed 30-credit video rate. A Veo 3.1 Fast clip at 150 credits exceeds the balance. This is arithmetic on published rates, not an observed yield; retries and higher settings cost more.

Key features
| Feature | What it does | Watch out |
|---|---|---|
| Chat with GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and DeepSeek models | — | |
| Agent mode for PDFs, spreadsheets, slides and cited web research | Reads uploaded PDF, Word, Excel or CSV files, drafts .pptx slides and searches the web with citations on every plan. | On Free it runs only on GPT-5.6 Luna inside the 15-message daily count. |
| Per-reply token and credit receipts | — | |
| One credit balance for chat, images, video and music | — | |
| Image, video and music generation with third-party models | — | |
| Separately purchased credits that do not expire | — | |
| Credit metering | Each reply converts weighted tokens into credits: 8,000 weighted tokens equal 1 credit, with a 10-credit cap per message. | Flagship models count double, so the same request costs twice as much on Claude Opus 5 or GPT-5.6 Sol. |
| Media generation | Images, video clips and music tracks draw on the same balance as chat. | Clip rates run from 30 to 750 credits, so one Veo 3.1 clip uses 75% of the Pro monthly pool. |
What does the Free plan actually cover each day?
Free allows 15 messages a day with GPT-5.6 Luna, and the count resets daily without asking for a card. Those messages run in the same agent mode as paid plans, so a Free user can summarize a PDF, clean a CSV or draft slides. Claude, Gemini, Grok and DeepSeek are not available on Free, and neither are Terra or the flagship models.
New accounts also receive 60 welcome credits for images, video and music, and the pricing page says they never expire. They are a separate allowance from the daily message count. Content made without a paid plan is excluded from commercial use in the homepage FAQ, so a free test of a client graphic is only a trial of the workflow, not a deliverable.
How is one message converted into credits?
YesChat meters paid usage in weighted tokens. An output token counts 5, a new input token 1.25, and context already read earlier in the chat 0.1. Every 8,000 weighted tokens is one credit, rounded up once per message and capped at 10 credits. Flagship models such as Opus 5, Sol, Astra and Fable count double.
The pricing page gives sample receipts: a quick question on GPT-5.6 Luna at 1 credit, a 30-page PDF summary on Claude Sonnet 4.6 at 3 credits and a three-spreadsheet comparison on Sol that reaches the 10-credit cap. A request that fails or times out is charged 0 credits. Follow-up questions are cheaper than new ones because re-read context carries the 0.1 weight.
Which plan unlocks the model you need?
The model table is the practical buying guide, because the same prompt can be unavailable, 1x or 2x depending on the tier. Pick the model first, then the plan. Paid plans have no per-day or per-model message caps; the monthly credit pool is the only limit, apart from fair use on unlimited Terra chat.
- Pro: GPT-5.6 Luna and Terra, Claude Sonnet 5, Sonnet 4.6, Haiku 4.5, Gemini 3.1 Pro, Grok 4.1 and DeepSeek R1, all at 1x.
- Ultra: adds GPT-5.6 Sol and Claude Opus 5 at 2x, Claude Opus 4.8 at 1x, and unlimited Terra chat that does not use credits.
- Max: adds GPT-6 Astra and Claude Fable 5.1 at 2x, plus the Music V5 Studio model.
How far does a credit pool go for images, video and music?
Media runs on the same balance as chat. Most listed image models cost 10 credits per image, while Grok Image costs 60. Video ranges from 30 credits for the cheapest effect clip to 750 for a Veo 3.1 clip, and music tracks cost 20 or 50 credits. The pricing page presents Pro as roughly 100 images or 6 videos a month.
A single Veo 3.1 clip therefore takes three quarters of the Pro allowance, leaving little for chat. If video is the main job, compare the per-clip rate of the specific model instead of the headline credit count. Credits bought separately are spent only after the plan credits run out.
Can you use the output commercially, and when is a refund possible?
The pricing table marks the commercial license as missing on Free and present on Pro, Ultra and Max. The homepage FAQ adds that only music tracks created during an active subscription are eligible for commercial use. Keep a record of the plan that was active when an asset was generated, particularly for music used in client videos.
The terms allow a refund within 3 days of the first purchase, but not if more than 20% of Advanced Credits have been used, and credit packs are never refundable. A three-day trial of a paid plan should therefore stay light: test the model you need with a few messages rather than spending a large share of the pool on media.
What happens to files and prompts you upload?
Under the terms you keep ownership of content you submit, but you grant the operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free and perpetual license to use, modify and publish it, including making it available to others. That wording is broad for a service used to summarize contracts or spreadsheets.
The privacy policy, dated January 10, 2024, describes sharing personal data with service providers but does not list which model developers receive prompts or files. Until the provider documents that flow, use redacted or fictional material for anything confidential, and keep original documents outside the chat.
Can the Free plan clean a small CSV and return the file?
Proposed evaluation · not performed yet
On a Free account, use GPT-5.6 Luna in agent mode with a fictional 20-row customer list that contains two duplicate email addresses and one malformed date. Ask for a cleaned CSV and a short list of every change. No paid plan or welcome credits are needed.
- Note the number of daily messages remaining before starting.
- Upload the CSV and request deduplication by email plus ISO dates, with no other edits.
- Download the returned file and reopen it outside YesChat.
- Compare the row count and the change list with the known errors.
- Record how many of the 15 daily messages the task used, including one correction.
Accept a downloadable file with 18 rows, a fixed date and a change list that matches the edits. Reject invented rows, silently altered values or a table printed only in chat. Leave the observed result blank until the exercise is run.
For a single-provider subscription, compare ChatGPT and Claude directly. For cited research as the main job, see Perplexity. Check which model you actually need before comparing plan prices.
Is YesChat worth it?
Documentation review plus dated public user reports. Documentation review, not tested hands-on. Not scored.
Worth it if
- You want answers from several providers under one bill and are willing to choose the plan by model access, since Claude and Gemini start on Pro.
- You want a no-card way to try agent-mode chat on light days, because Free covers a small daily message count with GPT-5.6 Luna.
Probably not if
- You expect flagship models to be cheap, because Opus 5 and Fable 5.1 sit on the higher tiers and consume credits at double rate.
- You need to hand assets to clients from a free account, because commercial use depends on holding a paid plan when the content is made.
- You plan to upload sensitive contracts or spreadsheets, because the terms license submitted content broadly and the privacy policy does not name the model providers.

Frequently asked questions
Do unused plan credits carry over to the next month?
No. Plan credits reset at each billing cycle. Credits bought separately are different: YesChat says they never expire and are spent only after the monthly plan credits are exhausted. Keep that order in mind before buying a pack late in a cycle, because the plan allowance will be consumed first.
What happens to purchased credits if I cancel or switch plans?
According to the pricing FAQ, separately bought credits stay with the account through upgrades, downgrades, cancellation and a later resubscription. An upgrade takes effect immediately and adds the new plan’s monthly credits. A cancelled plan keeps working until the paid cycle ends and then stops without another charge.
Can one subscription be used on two computers at the same time?
Only on the higher tiers. Free and Pro allow one device at a time, while Ultra and Max allow two. If a laptop and a desktop are open together on Pro, expect the limit to apply. Teams that need separate people working simultaneously should plan separate accounts instead.
My payment went through but the plan did not activate. What should I do?
The pricing FAQ says a plan normally activates within a minute. If it has not after a few minutes, email support@yeschat.ai from the account address with the payment receipt. The provider says it will activate the plan manually and make sure the account is not charged twice.
Is GPT-5.6 Terra really free of credits on Ultra and Max?
Yes, chatting with Terra on those two plans does not draw on the monthly credit pool. It is covered by a fair-use limit meant to stop automated abuse. The same model on Pro counts at the standard 1x rate, so heavy Terra use is one of the clearer reasons to move from Pro to Ultra.
