- $39.99Ultra
Regional prices: Prices are in USD.
Yearly prices are monthly equivalents: the page states savings of $24 on Pro and $192 on Ultra but not the invoice total. The yearly cards list the v5.5 Soul model and a commercial license; the monthly cards list v5 Studio and mark the license as not included. A countdown offer appears on the page. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over.

How far does it go?
- Songs per credit balance at listed ratesFree: 20 credits a day / 5 = 4 tracks a day. If each Create returns two versions that are both charged, that is 2 runs. Pro: 1,500 / 5 = 300 tracks a month. Ultra: 10,000 / 5 = 2,000 tracks. Extensions (3 credits) and vocal removal (5) reduce these totals. This is arithmetic on published rates, not observed usage.

Key features
| Feature | What it does | Watch out |
|---|---|---|
| Song generation from a description or custom lyrics and style | — | |
| Instrumental mode without vocals | — | |
| Song extension from the end or a chosen timestamp | — | |
| AI lyrics generator and MP4 lyric videos | — | |
| Vocal remover and stem splitter | Separate vocals and instruments from an uploaded track. | Only the Ultra card includes them, and you need rights to the audio you upload. |
| Sound effect generator and AI cover images | — | |
| Commercial license PDF for yearly subscribers | — | |
| Credit metering | Each generated track costs 5 credits; extensions 3, vocal removal 5, sound effects and cover images 2. | The help center says each Create returns two versions, so budget credits per run as well as per track. |
| Commercial rights | Paid songs can be monetized under the help center and license agreement. | Monthly pricing cards mark the commercial license as not included; the license agreement grants it to yearly subscribers. |
How far do 20 free credits a day go?
Free gives 20 credits a day, and the credit guide charges 5 credits per generated track, so the daily balance covers four tracks. The help center says each Create returns two versions of the song. If both versions are charged, the free balance allows two runs a day.
Free uses the Prime and Core models, runs one job at a time and stores results for 7 days. The Free card marks the vocal remover, stem splitter, lyric videos, cover images and song extension as not included, while the lyrics and sound effect generators are available. Download what you want to keep before the 7 days end.
Can you use the songs commercially?
Not on Free: the pricing FAQ, the help center and the license agreement all limit free songs to personal, non-commercial use, and the license asks for the credit line “This content was created with MusicHero.ai” when sharing them. The help center says songs made on Pro or Ultra can be distributed and monetized.
The billing period complicates that answer. On the current pricing page, the yearly Pro and Ultra cards tick the commercial license, but the monthly cards show it crossed out, and the license agreement grants its commercial license to yearly subscribers. Editorial assessment: for monetized releases, choose yearly billing or get written confirmation from support@musichero.ai first.
Which tools need the Ultra plan?
The vocal remover and stem splitter are ticked only on the Ultra card, although the vocal remover page itself is headed Online Free, and WAV download is ticked only on Ultra as well. Pro includes private songs, MP3 downloads, song extension, lyric videos and AI cover images. The credit guide charges 5 credits per processed track for vocal removal.
Separating vocals from a commercial release does not give you rights to that recording. Upload only tracks you own or are licensed to adapt, and keep remixes of other artists’ songs off monetized channels unless you hold the rights. The terms forbid content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property.
What happens with billing, credits and refunds?
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from the account settings page or by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing cycle, with no prorated refund. New customers can request a full refund within 3 days of their first purchase; after that, subscriptions are non-refundable except where the law requires it.
Monthly credits reset at the end of each cycle and do not roll over. The pricing FAQ says there is no top-up pack: when credits run out you wait for the reset or contact support to upgrade. A countdown timer advertises the yearly discount, but the stated savings are the only yearly figures shown.
Who can see your songs and what you upload?
Free songs are public, while paid users can keep generations private. Under the terms you keep ownership of content you submit, such as lyrics or uploaded audio, but you grant the operator a worldwide, perpetual license to use, modify and publish it, including making it available to others.
The privacy policy, last updated April 17, 2024, mainly covers log files, cookies and advertising partners, and does not say which model providers receive prompts or uploads. The help center adds that lyrics may be flagged for artist names, public figures or trademarked terms. Keep unreleased lyrics and client material off the free tier.
Which music model will you get?
The pricing page names models only by label. Free uses Prime and Core models, the monthly Pro and Ultra cards list the v5 Studio model and the yearly cards list the latest v5.5 Soul model. The pricing FAQ says the advanced model is reserved for paid users.
The site does not say who develops these models, so their origin is not stated here. If sound quality decides the purchase, generate the same prompt on Free and during the first three days of a paid plan, while the refund window is still open, and compare the two versions yourself.
Can the free plan make a usable 30-second intro jingle?
Proposed evaluation · not performed yet
On a Free account, write a four-line lyric with [Verse] and [Chorus] tags for a fictional podcast called Morning Ledger, with the style prompt “upbeat acoustic pop, female vocals, 110 BPM”. The result is for personal review only, since Free grants no commercial rights.
- Record the credit balance before and after one Create run.
- Listen to both returned versions and note whether the lyrics are sung as written.
- Check that the chorus starts within the first 30 seconds.
- Try the download option and note which formats are offered on Free.
- Record how many credits the run used and whether both versions were charged.
Accept a version with clear, correctly sung lyrics and a usable 30-second section. Reject misheard lyrics, a missing chorus or no download option. Leave the observed result blank until the exercise is run.
For AI voiceover and narration rather than songs, compare ElevenLabs and Murf. To level and clean a recorded vocal, see Auphonic.
Is MusicHero.ai worth it?
Documentation review plus dated public user reports. Documentation review, not tested hands-on. Not scored.
Worth it if
- You want to sketch song ideas for yourself, because the free daily credits cover a few tracks and the results stay personal.
- You plan to monetize songs and will pay yearly, since the license agreement grants commercial use to yearly subscribers.
- You need vocal separation or WAV files and can pay for Ultra, the only card that lists them.
Probably not if
- You want to publish songs commercially on monthly billing, because the monthly cards show the commercial license crossed out.
- You need unreleased lyrics kept private on the free tier, because free songs are public and expire after 7 days.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get the commercial license PDF?
The pricing FAQ says only annual subscribers can obtain license files, and only for music generated during their subscription period; other users cannot. The homepage FAQ repeats that the license PDF requires an active annual subscription. Download the license while the plan is active and keep it with the release files.
Can I keep monetizing songs after I cancel?
The license agreement says content made during a paid subscription may still be used commercially after the subscription expires or is cancelled. Songs made after cancellation fall under free-plan rules and are personal use only. Keep a record of the plan and billing period in force when each song was generated.
Why are my lyrics being flagged?
The help center lists names of well-known artists or public figures, copyrighted or trademarked terms, derogatory or defamatory language, excessive profanity and other inappropriate themes. Remove references to real artists and brands, rewrite the flagged lines and try again. Support can check lyrics that seem to be blocked by mistake.
Is musicheroai.com the same service?
Searches for the name also return a similarly named site at musicheroai.com and an unofficial guide app on Google Play. The legal pages reviewed here are on musichero.ai and name NEXUSAI SERVICES LLC. Check the address bar before paying, and send support questions to support@musichero.ai.
Can I choose male or female vocals, or a duet?
Yes, as a prompt hint. The help center suggests adding tags such as male vocals, female vocals or duet, and in Custom Mode marking lyric sections with tags like [Male Voice] and [Female Voice]. It warns that duets may not always be consistent, so plan for more than one generation.
