Which Jasper actions spend credits?
Jasper charges Business workspaces a platform fee plus credits for usage-based features. Standard content creation in Chat and Canvas is not what drives credit use, and prompts and standard agents are unlimited apart from advanced agents. Credits sit in one bank for the whole workspace, and the cost of an action appears before it runs.
- Grid: 10 credits per row, plus the cost of any advanced agent run in that row.
- GEO Hub: 10 credits per query or page run; the GEO Agent varies with message complexity.
- Research and Translation Agents: 40 credits per run.
- Optimization Agent: 100 credits per run.
- API and MCP: 1 credit per content-generation call, 2 per template run, 4 per standard agent run and 40 per Translation Agent run.

How much brand context fits on Pro?
A Brand Voice is built from up to 8 examples of text, .txt, .pdf or .docx files, or URLs, and applies in Chat, agents and the document editor. Pro allows 2 voices and Business is unlimited; a Pro user who hits the limit can delete a voice and create a new one. Word-replacement rules in the Style Guide are Business only.
The Knowledge Base holds product details, positioning and guidelines as text, audio, image, video, documents or URLs. Pro includes 5 knowledge assets. URL uploads cannot be downloaded or edited later, and video files can take up to 10 minutes to process.
What happens if you cancel or change billing?
A monthly Pro subscription can be cancelled at any time, and access continues until the end of the billing cycle. Annual plans have a 7-day cancellation and refund window; after that Jasper does not refund unused time. Business also starts with a 12-month commitment.
Jasper bills in US dollars by credit or debit card, and an exchange rate is applied at purchase for other currencies. Nonprofits can get a 20 percent discount after sending documentation.

Is Jasper free?
No. Jasper offers a free trial instead of a free plan, and the help center says a credit card is required at signup. The trial includes the features of the selected plan and turns into a paid subscription when it ends. Cancelling inside the app during the trial takes effect when the trial period ends, and no charge is made.
What happens when Business credits run out?
Business workspaces can buy prepaid credit packs through the account team, which expire at contract renewal or on a set date, or use pay-as-you-go overage billed monthly. When both are used up, advanced features such as Grid and advanced agents stop until credits are added. Admins can also set monthly credit limits per user.
Can I export Jasper content to Word or PDF?
Yes, Word and PDF are two of the four download formats, next to plain text and Markdown. The help center documents no PowerPoint export, so slide decks need another tool. Version history reaches back just 7 days, which makes your own saved copy the safer archive, and on Business an admin must switch on the Drive, SharePoint or Box integration before anyone can use it.
Which browsers and apps does Jasper work in?
Jasper runs in the browser, with an extension for Chrome and Edge; Safari, Firefox, Opera and Brave are not supported. Its integrations page also lists a Microsoft Word add-in, a Google Docs add-on and a Slack app. No native desktop or mobile app was found on Jasper's site, so writing away from a browser depends on those add-ins.
Can developers use Jasper through an API?
Only on Business. The API and the MCP server both require a Business plan with API access, and each call is charged in credits from the workspace pool. The integrations page lists API-based connections through Zapier, Make, Google Sheets and Google BigQuery, plus a Salesforce integration in beta for Business customers.
